We never know what a day can hold and it's best we don't see ahead. My husband went for an overnight sleep study this week and we were called the next morning with our P.A. telling us his resting pulse was extremely high. She ordered new medication and arranged an appointment with a cardiologist the next day. An EKG showed he has Atrial Fibrillation, the top chambers of his heart aren't functioning normally. He was given three more medications and sent home with paperwork for more appointments and additional bloodwork. This has turned his world upset down as he's accustomed to being in control and pretty much doing what he wants to do.
That has changed. My husband loves yard work and being outdoors in warm weather. He sat on the porch while our son cut the grass. A difficult but necessary place. And we never knew he'd be where he is.
